Huddersfield are a team from West Yorkshire that currently play in the Premier League. Nicknamed the Terriers, they play their home matches in the John Smith Stadium. They share this stadium with Huddersfield Giants rugby league side.
Founded in 1908, Huddersfield’s golden age came in the 1920s, when they became the first English side to win three successive league titles. Two of these under legendary manager Herbert Chapman before he moved to Arsenal in 1925. Since that heyday, the team has moved up and down the leagues frequently.
They won promotion to the Premier League for the first time in May 2017 via the play-offs, and despite all expectations, and Huddersfield predictions forecasting an immediate return to the Championship, managed to survive against all odds last season.
This season has been a very different story. They had a terrible start, winning just two of 22 games, and were bottom of the league at Christmas. In January, ex-Borussia Dortmund coach David Wagner, who had helped guide them to promotion, left by mutual consent. Things have scarcely improved under his successor, Jan Siewert, who must now build for next season.
Now Huddersfield betting tips do not concern themselves with whether the club will be relegated as that has now been decided. Instead people can focus by how many points they will get.
In terms of Huddersfield tips, there is little value to be had in head-to-head betting, as they usually lose. They have won three matches all seasons, and have suffered some big defeats, the worst 6-1 away to Manchester City. They still have to play Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United this season and a realistic Huddersfield prediction is that some more heavy losses may be in store for them.
