Real Valladolid Predictions

Real Valladolid are a La Liga side based in the Castile region of Central Spain. Nicknamed the Blanquiviolets (The White and Violets) they play their home games at the Estadio José-Zorilla. Their traditional kit is violet and white striped shirts, and violet shorts.

Founded in 1928, the only senior trophy that Valladolid won the Copa de la Liga in 1984. They have lose in the Cope de la Rey on two occasions. The team has qualified for European competitions three times, with their best showing coming in the Cup Winners Cup in 1990, when they got to the quarter-finals, only to lose to Monaco on penalties.

The past 15 years have been difficult for the club, which spent more seasons in Segunda B than in LaLiga. Promoted in 2007, they endured three seasons of struggle in the top flight, before dropping back into Segunda B again. Two seasons later, the same pattern repeated itself – another promotion followed by relegation fights in La Liga.

Last season Real Valladolid won the play-offs to clinch the last promotion place, despite finishing 5th in the regular season. Optimistic Valladolid predictions posited that, perhaps this time round, the club would be better prepared to withstand the challenges of playing at the elite level in Spain.

However, this now looks not to be the case. With only a few games left in the season, current Real Valladolid betting tips have them filling the relegation place. And, for next season do not make Real Valladolid tips that include them as favourites to bounce straight back up again. History suggests that the side will make its way back up to La Liga again, but it may take several seasons in Segunda B before they will manage it.
