Atletico Madrid eager to sign up Trippier as Napoli and the English Premier League clubs also shows interest

  • Atletico Madrid along with Napoli shows interest in the Spurs’ right-back Kieran Trippier.
  • Trippier is reportedly free to leave North London once the next summer sale starts.
  • Premier League Clubs such as Manchester United and Everton have also shown an interest in the Spurs’ 28-year-old right-back.
  • Atletico Madrid and Napoli have been displaying keen interest towards Tottenham Hotspur’s right-back, Kieran Trippier.

Napoli, as per predictions is prepared to bid for the right-back at around £15 million including add-ons, and Atletico will also be looking for the same price having now invested about £35 million for the signature of Alex Telles, Brazilian left-back from Porto club. However, the Spurs may want to carry out the deal closer to 40 million Pounds for Trippier.

Predictions from Italy stated that Napoli’s boss, Carlo Ancelotti is hesitant to enter in a bidding battle with the Spurs, particularly if Tottenham stand firm on their £40 million deal for the English star.

The 28-year-old English player has three years remaining until his contract expires with the Spurs, but he is reportedly free to move during the summer clearout.

The England international is reported to reveal he has fought to keep up with the last season’s appearances. However, the 28-year-old right-back yet remains a crucial part of the Spurs’ side during the Champion League semi-finals and third in the Premier League.

With Tottenham considering adding two full-backs into Mauricio Pochettino’s side next summer, they are yet to decide on whether to listen to offers for the right-back Trippier. But, the prior requests from Napoli and Atletico Madrid indicate that proposals will fall considerably short of their estimate.

Premier League Clubs such as Manchester United and Everton are also reported to favor the 28-year-old Tottenham’s right-back even though these two League clubs are also looking at Crystal Palace’s right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and so is Manchester City.
